Okay

We've entered.

We've gotten armed

Located our goddamn arms

We're in the medium

We've got our heroic titles

And we are the baby. The baby is us.

What is the game of Sburb?

Basically, build upwards and reach Skaia. Place a platform at the height of your seventh Gate, and put the fuckin, grist launcher thing there. Drill into the core of your Land using the Thingy and use the grist there for the launcher. Once your space player and knight have cloned the frog, light the forge and drop the frog in. It'll start growing, and it'll need grist to do it -- that's why you built! Your machines should feed it and you'll be able to go to the lotus platform, where there's a giant house logo w a door in the corner. With your universe created, step inside, and you win!

Okay, but like, that's the endgame. What's the actual, while you're playing, progression?

Well, have you entered yet?

Yes.

Cool. Go to your first gate and start exploring on your planet.

You'll meet your planet's Consorts, which are a unique cute animal species that makes funny noises at you. They will accept the in-game Boondollars as currency, and will sell you the sickest fraymotifs. (edited)

You'll also probably start getting a feel for your planet quest around this time. Usually it's centered around whatever your planet's Material is -- oil or chalk or amber or snow, in the case of the four human kids.

This theme is

Basically utterly unexplored in the comic.

So don't really worry about it.

Only one of four humans even does their land quest at all

Anyway somewhere in your on planet wanderings you should find another Gate, which should take you to your server player's planet. You can wander around there too -- the game actually intentionally generated a quest area on that planet just for you!

At the end of that area there's a portal to your server player's server player's land

You've got a quest area there too, and then a final portal takes you back to your planet.

This takes you above your house (specifically your sixth gate) and then you can go to your seventh Gate, which takes you to your planet's Denizen.

The denizens are, like, weird abstract space worms and also share the names of real world mythological gods n shit

And also, are, foreshadowed by, the internet browser your character uses.

Yeah. Homestuck. Who knows.

Key weird thing was that this merge actually like, when they exploded, left a bit of a psychic residue on both members. In the afterlife, they started exhibiting a trait or two from the others' classpect, and it definitely helped them both on their arcs.

FROG TEMPLES

Okay so frog temples are one of the mandatory structures that the game autogenerates in the veil.

It usually lands near the space player tho I think it can also land near Time? Aradia was a weird case bc she was deeeply inversiond when the game started

The temple exists solely to house that (and the time capsule mentioned somewhere else)
